Oh my goodness! Are you serious???? I would sooooo love to win this.
My house is painted white the whole way through (BORING), so I'm covering the walls with bright artworks, mainly keeping to the pink / orange / red theme, so a pink, orange or red background would work perfectly for me. I'm off to add the blog button. Yippee!

I have been a follower and I would sooo love this little Alice painting. Right now my walls are sort of a honey butter color but I'm about to repaint it a silvery blue. I think the perfect background would be the same shade of blue you have in Alice's dress. I will post your button on my blog. Thank you for the chance to win!

Gorgeous! For the background I would like to suggest a painterly mix of green- moss, avocardo and emerald.
And because we have already had one childhood storybook coincidence, I won't tell you the type of clock I made today.....OK - A Teacup Clock!!!!
Link button going up on Find,Make,Do!

Fantastic painting. I can picture it hanging in my bathroom which is painted the color of orange poppies so the painting would really "pop"!

Ah, beautiful painting as always. I'm a follower.
Since this is Alice, and my favorite room is blue... well, this picture would look best with robins egg blue in the background, no?

I've posted the button: http://ateacupofwhimsy.blogspot.com/

This is a fabulous painting that I would love to own.

My favorite room is an eclectic mix of textures and colours, nothing matches, nothing uniform just all my favorite stuff, so this little painting of Alice and the White Rabbit would fit in and look right at home.

avidly following the instructions: this is so much more fun than the stuff you have to do to win commercial bids!!!!!

sorry forgot to say - my art room is turqoise but I would hang this on my white wall in our hallway as I like the artwork to be the decoration and the wall to just be a 'holder': we use the hall as our gallery to show off everyone's art to everyone we love, often we struggle to move people out of the hall into the 'rooms', - can't get people off my loo either - check out my blog to see the mosaic I did for the bathroom -

so do your background how you would like to and I would be honoured to give your work space in my favourite art part of our home.

She's lovely!!! Hmmm lets see... the wall that she would most likely reside on would either be white or a mossy green depending on wether she ended up in the living room or the adjoining office. Must now try to figure out how to link you to my blog!!

I followed! I posted on my blog and I'm happy with the painting as it looks now or any way you like to colour it. (I have a room in almost every colour!) I really want to win so if you are choosing the winner by how much the person wants to win you would definitely have to choose me!!!

I would have to hang it in my room if I won, my room is filled with purples and blues, my walls are purple. If not it would be the kitchen where I make cups of tea, and would be interesting on the kitchen walls, as they have been wallpapered with old newspaper cooking recipe articles and have faded into an antique look :)

ps forgot to tell you I think a grey background would be perfect for me

What a great little gem of a piece of art! If it came to live at our house it'd probably hang in my daughters bedroom which has a purple feature wall so a background that contrasted with that would be perfect (yellow, orange, green or red). About to put the button on my blog and will be crossing my fingers and toes for a lucky day on the 6th!

bensonbear said...

Ok, so I've only just found you-via my sister's blog (Susie Mcmahon) and I love your work! I'll be adding your button to my blog and I am now a follower (stalker)This little painting would go so well on my earthen mud walls (they're a terracotta sort of colour) a blue, something like Alices dress would go wonderfully well ;) I truly, truly hope that my name is drawn. Bear Hugs Linda :)

This painting is to die for! I would love to have it anywhere on my walls...which are antique white or kind of grey/green/moss coloured.
Actually I am kind of intrigued by the whole Alice thing myself. Wish I could paint and draw.

Purple of course! Sadly my walls are 'builders beige' because we're currently renting but one day my studio will be the most beautiful shade of purple... *sigh*

angelique said...

I nearly forgot to get my entry in....oh no!! I follow you already as you know and if I was the lucky one to win I would need a background to do any colour walls. As this is not where we will stay forever the painting would follow us around forever. So in summing up you could do any colour you think would look best with the rest of the picture. Thanks for the opportunity to maybe own another something of yours.

Kelsey the Ewok said...

I concur with Betty Jo about the greens. My walls are a crimson color so greens would really pop against my red walls.

But you know, any background color would be lovely!

I'm adding your giveaway button to my blog right now!

Today my mom finally agreed to letting me enter blog giveaways/contests (I'm only 17 and she's very strict with who I can give my personal information to) so I've been joining wonderful giveaways like crazy today!

Happy Tuesday! :)

Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful! :-) A lovely green - something between emerald and jade - would work perfectly for my room. Thanks for the chance to win! x

Joanne said...

ooohh huni, i couldnt even begin to imagine what colour the back ground should be, the pic is wonderful already and annnny colour you choose would work!

My walls are white, its the art that adds the colour to the room ;)

Bellgirl said...

Oooh it's lovely. Red is a good colour choice for my room, but actually I think the colour should be up to you. Blac and grey for a stormy sea?
