crazy cats

A couple of crazy cats I designed years ago. I totally forgot about these until I stumbled across them on one of my archived Cd's.
I think I did animate these for an earth moving company. I'll have to see if any of this animation still exists anywhere!
Cats are fun to draw and make look stupid, especially since we all know how highly intelligent creatures they are.

some crumby fun

I drew these last year for a couple of country cd covers. They where inspired by Robert Crumbs illustrations of bluegrass musicians.
Good fun to do. I love the hillbilly theme!

concept art

Some more character and background designs from the vault.
I had great fun with these designs.
Even now I'd love to do another couple of passes on them and maybe a few little test animations...dam it I think I'll take time out to day to do another few versions of the nasty little girl character.

grimm pics

some current work in progress...well they have been in progress for some time now, I promise I will finish them one day!
Based on a tale by the Brothers Grimm 'The Hand From The Grave' inspired me to illustrate the story in an attempt to maybe either submit these as separate art work or in book form.

painted using only black watercolour and salt on rag paper.
