New paintings, Australian landscapes

The Big Gray, mixed media, not for sale

Bird Spotting. mixed media, not for sale

Inspired by my stay at Dunmoochin. Some of you may know my love of nature photography and my other blog, Little Clicking Crow, where I posted many photo's of the birds, fungus and toadstools that thrived around Dunmoochin. Every morning the Striated Pardalotes, Choughs, White- backed Magpies, Bell Miners, Spotted Pardalotes, Fairy Wrens, Kookaburra's, Thrush, Tree Crawlers, Fan Tails and Red Breasted Robins flew around my front door. Toadstool spotting became a obsessive addiction and everyday held new surprises! Eucalyptus polyanthemos, grew everywhere and provided the blue green palette for the background.
Painting is not for sale.

oh so good for the world to have you and your art back onthe web , please still let me know when one of your kangaroo studies becomes available to buy.

I am so in love with your big grey - the colour palatte is so tender and whilst powerful and threatening he just happens to look curious (mostly)

will we see you back at the academie too? are you gonna do the sketchbook challenge?

These are sooo cool!
I can recognize all the hidden birds and roos! And the birdwatcher too!
There's so much appeal here.
